Objectives:
-delivering data regarding the host country and community
-giving information about the organizations of former EVS volunteers
-being aware of the manner and importance whit which proper cultural differences and conflicts can be solved
-acquainting the volunteers with the role of every partner involved in each step of the project and with the responsibilities of the project implementation team
-acquiring basic conversation skills in Romanian and/or English
-getting to understand the meaning of volunteer-ship
-identifying clear objectives connected to the activities to be performed during the volunteer stage

10:00 – 11:00  - Presenting participants and trainers
11:00 – 11:45  - Collecting fears and expectations, presenting objectives of the on arrival training
11:45 – 12:00  - Coffee break
12:00 – 13:00  - Ice-breaking games
13:00 – 13:30  - Personal objectives during EVS stage and project objectives
13:30 – 15:00  - Lunch
15:00 - 15:15  - Energizer
15:15 – 16:45 - Youth in Action, focusing on EUROPEAN VOLUNTARY SERVICE and viewing materials created from YOUTH and YOUTH IN ACTION financed programs
16:45 – 17:00 - Coffee break
17:00 – 18:30 - MILLENNIUM CENTER presentation and ‘Cultural Clusters – To Be Discovered’ project partners, ARAD STUDENT ORGANISATION presentation and partners from the ‘ARAD – A city with personality’ project

20:00 – 21:00  - Viewing of a documentary about Romanian history; facilitated talks

Day 4

10:00 – 10:30  - Energizer
10:30 – 11:30  - The responsibilities of insurers: medical insurance and the maximum coverage of insured apartments and possessions. The role and responsibility of the doctor. Presenting methods of risk prevention foreseen by the project
11:30 – 11:45  - Coffee break
11:45 – 13:00  - Assistance and mentorship service through out the whole volunteer stage.
13:00 – 13:30 - Financial aspects, eligible expenses and reimburments.
13:30 – 15:00  - Coffee break
15:00 – 16:30  - Host communities – presentation
16:30 – 18:00   - Romanian language introduction
18:30 – 20:00  - Romanian traditional dress, dance and music.
20:00 – 21:00 – Dinner

Day 5

11:00 – 12:00 - Corporate Social Responsibility
12:00 – 13:30 - Visibility of financers and partner organizations. Dissemination methods of the activities implemented and good methods and practices

15:00 – 16:30 - Follow-up activities
15:00 – 19:00  - Presenting activities planned to follow through out the entire volunteer stage.

Day 6

10:00 – 13:30 - ‘Lunca Muresului’ activities. Laboratory experiments and paper recycling

15:30 – 16:30  - Final Evaluation
16:30 – 19:00 - Preparing intercultural evening
19:00 – Intercultural evening; farewell party
