One month ago I spoke with the priest of the orthodox church if he has an idea for something really senseful and he told me about his project with the camp for children and youngsters in Covasint. It is supervised and planned by him and funded of bounties of money and material. All the work will be done by volunteers.

Until now there exists just the place where the camp will be and working on it will start in agust. The camp will be finished next year and will contain a playing ground for children, houses for workshops, an amphitheatre, a park, a garden and other things. The youth of Covasint can go there to spend their free time with making cultural activities (singing, playing theatre) and learning about traditions (making wine, working with wood, weaving). Besides this are planned exchange programs with children and teenagers from abrod.
I appreciate this idea because in Covasint exists except a small playing ground, an old football ground and the youth center (three computers with internet, no regular activities) no possibility for the youth to spend their free time sense fully.
In the first week of august we (volunteers from the church, the village, from abroad and handcrafts) will clean the area from the bushes and needles trees. After that the different levels of the area will be made of terraces and the fundament of the fence will be made. In the last week of my follow-up (end of august) we will build the stage for the amphitheatre, for which I will use the money. We will buy the balks and the planks for the stage and lacquer and stain for preparing the wood from the 400 Euro, which I can use and build the stage all together.
The result of that follow-up-project I will present on the homepage of our project and of Covasint and when I'm back in Germany I will make a presentation about EVS and my follow-up in my old high-school.

So, that is the short form of what I want to do. We can use every help which you want to offer us, maybe you can also think abouit your follow-up... :)
